What Did We Do At The 2009 Association Picnic?

By Tino | August 10, 2009

Do you want to know what we did at the last association picnic? Well, we had fun! Just like the disciples did in the New Testament, coming together to eat and have fellowship, so did we.

We started out with the potluck. Wynes said grace, and we ate some great-tasting food.

After the food settled in a little, we all became kids again, and played some games, tossing the frisbie around with the purpose of seeing who ran the fastest (we all had full stomachs, so you can imagine the spectacle).

I have to tell you; the kids were waaay better at this than the adults.

Well good thing the adults made a come-back, showing off a little with bible trivia. Perry did a great job throwing out some very hard questions at us.

When the bible trivia was over, we went on – the very anticipated – tour of the Disaster Relief Trailer. David explained the functions of each type of equipment.

By the way, if you’re interested on participating in Disaster Relief, email DisasterRelief@rainbowassociation.org.

And the day ended with everyone saying: “See You Later”.
